Hacking Into Orkut And Yahoo! Account Brand New Trick

Warning: I am writing this tutorial for educational purpose only.

Here Goes the tutorial:

First of all you need is the e-mail address that is associated with the Orkut account, to find it.login with your own account, if you don’t have one create it. add his/her to your my friends list. Click on “Manage” under My friends list. As shown in the figure below..

Yahoo-Mail

Now Check whether this e-mail id exists in yahoo!’s Database or not.

To check whether it exists or not visit mail yahoo.com.

Click on I can’t access my account.

Select I forgot my password and click on next.

Now Enter the first part of the yahoo ID i.e. before “@” here, in my case it is “7hackers"

If yahoo! returns we could’nt find that Yahoo! ID (if not click here), this means that you have found a vulnerable Orkut Account.

To hack the Orkut account Go Back, and sign up with ID as hak9.com

Now Visit https://www.google.com/accounts/ForgotPasswd and enter the e-mail address of the victim as in my case it is “hak9.com@yahoo.com”

Now open mail.yahoo.com and login with the username and password that you have used to sign up with yahoo!

Now open up the e-mail with the title Orkut Password or something like this….

click on the link and enter new password.

You are done enjoy!

Countermeasures: Verify the e-mail address associated with your Orkut Account.
